Social Media:Own 2013 Using it’s Awesomeness
It’s almost 2013, and for many business owners (notice that I didn’t mention small and large businesses…opps!) the question you’re asking yourselves is “how can I build a stronger brand for my business on the Web?”
It’s a good question with an easy answer and the answer is social media.
Yes, yes I know you’ve heard all about social media and your sick of it.
You’re just not convinced of its awesomeness!
You don’t understand it.
You’re afraid of it, it’s scary, and you think it’s just about posting pointless updates on Facebook and Twitter that have utterly no value.
Okay look, it’s time to get out of the stone age and embrace the net for all it’s worth to your company and its brand or to your personal brand.
Yeah I’ll bet you weren’t aware of that last little sentence were you?
I’m sure that you have heard the rumblings about using social media to engage with potential consumers as well as converted customers.
In this new series that I’m starting tomorrow, I’m going to take you through each social media platform in depth and let you in on all the information about each one.
I’ll explain the good and the not so good of Facebook, Twitter and the new kid on the block (and my personal favorite) Pinterest as well as leveraging YouTube and even pod casting…no it’s still alive and kicking and helping people get their message across to a hungry audience.
Here’s what I’ll be covering in this five part series:
- StumbleUpon
- YouTube
And I want everyone to know right from the beginning that I’m going to be writing this series from the perspective that most of you (even if you are Web savvy) may not be comfortable using any of these social media tools.
I’m also going to assume that most of you aren’t quite sure how you can use these tools to build a strong awareness of your personal brand as well as your business’s brand…but you can do that using these tools, and I’ll explain it all to yo
u.
So the first part of this exciting series will be posted here this Sunday, that’s right December 30th…just two days away from 2013.
That’s when you start using the awesomeness of social media to your advantage.
Trust me… your gonna love this new series!
